Artists Resources
Homer Council on the Arts maintains a gallery for exhibits featuring local artists, scheduled by invitation or by proposal from the artist(s). Performances are also held regularly in the gallery, and local performers are encouraged to book performance dates. The gallery space also serves as a meeting place for various arts and performance groups to hold workshops and rehearsals. HCOA has an extensive library of art history, art appreciation, and instructional materials available to the public.
Creative Communities are regular gatherings to support the creative process for all artists. For more information go to the Creative Community page on this website
We are in the process of constructing an Artist Registry
Our newsletter Artist relays information by email to artists concerning calls for art exhibits, jobs, grant programs, and other news. This information will also be posted on this website page.
Artists in the Schools Program is administered by the Bunnell Street Art Center. Click here for details...
Please let HCOA know how we can better serve you as an artist in the community.
