Here in Alaska, we are all about repurposing. Recycled art and design stimulates imagination in ways that two-dimensional art infrequently can. Cardboard art is a reinvigorated art form that has no boundaries. Style and aesthetics are not included in the definition, leaving it open to pure aesthetic exploration. It has been described as “…a backlash against technology”. It’s versatility and relief gives us opportunity to work with and create easily attainable and malleable upcycled art.
