Body Moves & The Art of Falling and Rising

These classes are designed for adults with mobility challenges and will improve confidence, grace, and fluidity while developing a supportive community. Join Dotti Harness-Foster and Lindianne Sarno (Body Moves only) will lead you through these dynamic and regenerative classes with movements that increase endurance, strength, balance, and stability. The Art of Falling and Rising will help you learn to maintain balance, land with softness, and rise comfortably in a variety of ways.

BodyVox Workshops

BodyVox blends bold athleticism and freewheeling imagination with dance, comical characters and energizing rhythms to explore the elements of dance. BodyVox dancers will lead a warm up to prepare participants for across the floor movement and phrase development.

Participation fee is $20 for a 90 min workshop.

6pm Friday – Nutcracker/Youth

Aerial Yoga with Teal Rogers

Aerial Yoga classes fuse yoga poses with aerial hammocks to allow for a full body stretch that increases flexibility beyond what traditional yoga provides. Creative sequences build strength, coordination and mental poise. Great for all levels - modifications will be given individually so that students can practice to their personal edge.

Puzuri Workshop Unhinged

Puzuri Workshop Unhinged

 A four-week session creating ornaments out of natural materials based on the Latvian tradition of Puzuri. Students will gather grasses, reeds, and other natural items to create chandeliers, lanterns, and other decorative items. The last class, November 29th is family oriented creating flat stars, potato stars, birds, and lanterns. Others will work on their individual projects for exhibition for the Nutcracker Faire. Finished items will be displayed in HCOA gallery during December and January.
