Scholarships
Every year HCOA awards scholarships to youths to participate in summer arts programs. Past recipients have used these gifts to attend music, fine art and dance camps, purchase private art lessons and obtain art supplies. April is the month we devote to youth art in Homer. Visual art is displayed in various locations throughout the community, while the Jubilee Performance showcases the musical, literary and theatrical talent of our youth in Homer. Proceeds from this performance help to fund the HCOA Scholarship Program. Your donation to this fund will increase the opportunities for our youth to invest in their creative endeavors.

Membership
Membership shows your support of quality arts programming in your community. Membership offers discounts to programs, rentals and vendor fees. A growing membership is extremely important to our continued success as we develop innovative, quality arts programming for both children and adults. We offer various levels of membership (or you may give any amount you choose).
Homer Council on the Arts encourages our members to consider a monthly giving plan. A small amount each month goes a long way. For instance $25 a month, automatically billed to your credit card, adds up to $300 a year. Join today!

Volunteer
Volunteers make our world go ‘round. Feel good about making the arts accessible. Have fun with other arts supporters. Volunteering offers a sense of community; working with others toward something you value. For those with skills, your expertise is deeply appreciated. And for skills development, volunteering is an opportunity to learn and develop skills for future work!

Sponsorship
Businesses, organizations and individuals have an array of opportunities to support the arts and demonstrate their commitment to the success of our community.
HCOA offers the opportunity to sponsor a specific event or program. Select a targeted audience and receive increased visibility during our marketing efforts. Or remain anonymous. Choose to be the primary sponsor, or fund one segment of the event or program--the choice is yours.
Sponsorship supports the quality of programming as well as tuition assistance to increase accessibility to everyone. Review our list of programs and events and become a valued HCOA sponsor today.

Donations
Your donation to the general fund helps us run our day- to-day operations, heat the gallery, and pay the staff who answer the phone, plan the programming, and write the funding proposals. General support makes it possible for the HCOA board and staff to focus on developing the programs and services that provide opportunities for all people in our community to experience and participate in the arts.

Endowment
Homer Council on the Arts has been active in Homer since 1975, and we are confident that we will be serving the Lower Kenai Peninsula for many years to come.
With sustainability in mind, HCOA was one of the first non-profit organizations to establish an account in 1992 with the then newly formed Homer Foundation. This fund is held in perpetuity as an endowment for HCOA.
A donation to the HCOA Endowment Fund is an investment of your money, effectively managed by the Homer Foundation, that will continue to support HCOA well into the future. Please call HCOA for more details.
