Homer Council on the Arts is Expanding!

For years Homer has been clambering for a medium sized performance and community meeting space. Homer Council on the Arts is committed to building a space that will accommodate approximately 170+ audience members for intimate performances, a gathering space for community events and meetings, and open space for movement classes of all genres. Our initial estimate for the entire project is $486,000. Costs break down as follows:

-$57,500 for general conditions including permits, engineering, general contractor and architect

-$106,600 for main building improvements including demolition, plumbing, electrical, interior frame and finish both on the main level and in the basement

-$304,000 for yurt expenses including site work, build, and utilities
